Get that app open and pinning fingers ready! There are no words for the excitement of finally featuring this phenomenal shoot! In collaboration with Aisle Society for David's Bridal, we had the honor of producing an array of gorgeous contemporary bohemian wedding ideas alongside beautiful gowns and incredible Virginia wedding pros. A color palette of mixed metallics, peach, and soft slate set the stage for Chelsea Anderson Photography, Just Dandy Events, and Isha Foss Design to bring to life unique trend-forward wedding day vignettes at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.

Starting at the ceremony area with a crocheted birch altar, hanging macrame planters, wild greenery swag, and tri-colored chiavari chairs, the wedding party truly shone in swashes of dusty blue and white fabrics against all the garden green. From David's Bridal, the bride's trumpet lace and tulle gown complemented the bridesmaids' convertible, elegant long mesh dresses (which were perfect for our gorgeous curvy lady and our glowing momma-to-be!), and our gents looked mighty dapper in their classic dove gray suits.

It was off to cocktail hour next with a chic modern white lounge set, signature drinks, and sequined high-boy tables around the Rotunda! Midcentury modern buildings provided the perfect backdrop inspiration for couples who love architecture, the romance of a garden setting, and eclectic flair. But while we love the outside of the Rotunda, the inside is just as beautiful, especially when transformed from an empty space into an intimate reception! From antique Asian-inspired blue and white ceramic vases with persimmons, thistles, and aptly-named blushing bride protea nestled together to the mismatched vintage china made complete by gold chargers and modern copper-foiled menu cards, the reception area was a dream! We especially loved the savvy repurposing of the mixed metallic chiavari chairs and macrame planters from the ceremony into dinner seating and cake table details.

The best part? All of this -- wardrobe and decor -- was sourced locally from popular stores (like Home Goods and David's Bridal, of course!), thrift shops (the florist-stylist spray-painted old chiavari chairs for that rose gold goodness!), and event rental companies... making this inspiration so very doable and attainable for any couple whose hearts go pitter patter for modern shapes, organic textures, and beautiful settings.

Inspired by Pantone's Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue, Savy Events and Fresh Look Photography waved a magic wand and made this truly whimsical fairy tale wedding inspiration come to life with a bit of Rapunzel-esque aesthetic at The Mansion at Double R Ranch in Suffolk.

A lush cascading bridal bouquet with draping ferns by Kathy Forrest Design and a "magically" suspended in mid air tiered wedding cake with delicate sugar lace and pink rosebuds crafted by Gourmet Bake Shoppe set the stage for the happily ever after as the beautiful bride transformed into a princess with a classic lace gown from Milk and Honey Bride and romantic hair and makeup by Jenna Kathleen.

The ornate watercolor stationery by Amber Dominique Designs matched with gilded flatware and warm wooden tones makes our hearts sing a little song and wish for our fairy godmothers to come whisk us away. For the classic romance out of a storybook kind of wedding, this inspiration has it all!
