Back in 2016, Kass first noticed Nagib as the kind of quietly magnetic person everyone relied on. As after-work happy hours turned into late nights dancing beneath disco balls, their connection shifted from friendly familiarity into something deeper. Years later, that same shimmering disco ball would reappear in the most meaningful way when Nagib proposed during a New Year’s Eve weekend away, surrounded by their secretly gathered family and glowing holiday lights. It was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments that felt both magical and completely meant to be!
When it came time to plan their wedding, Nagib and Kass wanted every detail to reflect that same blend of intention and joy.
Held at Floriana at the Hellenic Center in Ipswich, Massachusetts, their celebration brought together timeless elegance and heartfelt DIY charm. A navy blue-infused color palette layered with romantic French toile inspiration created a classic foundation that was all beautifully captured by Zhaun Frias Photography!

A Celebration Built by Heart
From the very first moment, it was clear Nagib and Kass' wedding would be unforgettable.Kass wore a dreamy Jenny Yoo gown with a pointed sweetheart neckline, pairing it with detachable pearl-beaded sleeves and a cathedral veil edged in delicate floral appliqué — giving her two elegant bridal looks in one for the big day. Just as chic, Nagib looked sharp in a three-piece navy blue suit, with their wedding date embroidered on his shirt sleeve for a subtle, personal touch that perfectly complemented his bride’s style.
And for guest experience, the couple welcomed loved ones with paper fans, bubbles, and custom "Newlywed Times" newspaper programs, setting a tone that was equal parts playful and personal.

Stylish DIY Details Everywhere You Looked
For Kass, DIY wasn’t just a budget-friendly choice — it was a love language. Handcrafted by the bride and her dad, there was a French toile mirror gallery wall that acted as a seating chart. We adore the "You Look Wonderful Tonight" signage that accompanied it! Guests took peeks around the mirrored display to find their tables, turning something functional into a sweet interactive experience. Many of the wedding’s most charming details were made by hand, including the personalized napkin ribbons that served as place cards and shimmery gold table numbers, all created using a Cricut. These small but meaningful pieces added design cohesion and personality to every table, proving just how powerful thoughtfully designed DIY can be.
Nagib and Kass also setup a fun temporary tattoo station that invited guests to play and personalize their night — a perfect example of how creative wedding ideas can double as unforgettable entertainment. (And if you’re inspired by this couple, we have a DIY wedding tattoo tutorial that is a must-do so you can make your own, too!)

Sneakers, Glow Sticks, and a Dance Floor to Remember
Once the party began, Nagib and Kass traded traditional wedding shoes for something much more “them”: matching Nike Air Jordan 1s, customized with their initials and wedding date. Kass even hand-painted Nagib's with navy blue and gold, turning them into wearable keepsakes from their wedding day! With colorful reception lighting setting the mood and music filling the room by DJ Big Bear, the dance floor became a joyful blur of movement and laughter. Wedding glow sticks definitely included!
For a reception treat, alongside a chic French countryside-inspired dessert bar with macarons and fruit tarts made by Love & Flour, the bride and groom also cut into their petite two-tiered white wedding cake with the sweetest ribbon bows decorating its piping and a personalized mirror gold cake topper.

A Wedding That Felt Like Them
Every detail of Nagib and Kass’s wedding — from the Cricut-crafted decor to the hand-built mirror gallery wall — told the story of two people who believe that the most meaningful moments are the ones you create together. With classic style, personalized DIY, and a whole lot of heart, their wedding at Floriana at the Hellenic Center was more than just beautiful. It was unmistakably, wonderfully theirs.
