When Two Foodies Fall in Love and Cook Up a Wedding

There isn’t anything we love more than love... but food comes a close second, so when we saw this foodie-inspired wedding we knew we had to put it on our menu immediately. Morgan and Seth wanted a farm-to-table experience for their guests, so they chose the quirky chic Norfolk restaurant, Commune, as their venue and immediately began to plan an experience that, thanks to Heather Events, would wow both the eyes and the taste buds.

Beyond the variety of hors d'oeuvres and other mini bites, we are obsessed with Morgan's bouquet filled with texture for days – can you believe how gorgeous those massive protea blooms are?! Julie Dreelin Beach Productions captured Morgan and Seth's moments from every angle and highlighted the beauty of the day alongside the deliciousness of all the food. Everything about this wedding is fresh, organic, and leaves us hungry for more. Portraits on the quintessential cobblestone streets of downtown Norfolk and a wedding party dressed in perfectly mismatched blue attire rounded out a personalized wedding for any gourmand to love.
