So Much Cozy in This Festive Christmas Inspired Wedding

There aren't many things that inspire us to reminisce fondly while celebrating with joy like Christmas, but a wedding gives us so many of the same feelings. And when the two combine for a gorgeous cranberry red and evergreen wedding, we are in love! Hannah Hildebrandt Events planned a stunning celebration for Mitchell and Makenna that was all about the holidays and their love story which began at Virginia Tech and culminated into a marriage proposal near the Army base where he was stationed. After deciding to get married in December, they envisioned a winter wonderland with the cheer of the season to be encompassed in their special day captured by Molly Lichten Photography.

From the crimson red and gold invitations to a special emerald ring to handmade wood details, everything exemplified the elegance of a wedding day tied with the nostalgia of Christmas. The Historic Post Office was glammed up in with greenery, Christmas trees, and a candlelit reception to create a cozy rustic ambiance. We are also absolutely obsessed with their cookie and cocoa bar, Makenna's dotted tulle wedding dress and red velvet bridal shoes, Mitchell's look of joy the whole day, and the special handmade wood slice ornament favors guests took home in remembrance of a beautiful magical evening.
