Classic Golf Course Wedding with Peach and Gray Prettiness

Joy. It’s the first word that comes to mind as we scroll through this bright, cheer-filled wedding photographed by Lindsey Lyons Photography. Richard and April chose a classic celebration at the Independence Golf Club in Richmond, and their smiles speak for themselves as they laughed their way through the entire wedding day. Peach-colored bridesmaid dresses, accents of cream and gold, and April’s fit-and-flare ballgown were all elements that made their day beautifully memorable.

Richard and April's relationship began as two college kids whose idea of a date night was the McDonald’s drive thru, but their romance grew over the next seven years, and before they knew it, a trip to New York City with a Broadway show ended in a proposal. Inspired by their love story, food and music were the two most important factors for their wedding day. To tie in heritage, they also incorporated the ‘jumping the broom' tradition into their ceremony that signified the couple's commitment to each other and determination for marriage.

With laughter, love, and timeless details, Richard and April's wedding turned into a celebration for the ages! You can't help but smile at that!
