Chic Jewish Wedding with Oodles of Purple Preppy Style

Wanting to show their loved ones a wonderful time in Richmond, Stephanie and Evan envisioned memorable drinks, food, and music for their preppy wedding day at Bolling Haxall House. Shades of purple and patterns of stripe set the fun tone as they also tied in important Jewish traditions with their ceremony and reception. Family played an important part as two tallits from the groom's grandparents hung on the garland-decorated handmade chuppah while the bride's fabulous 101 years old grandmother danced the Hora (which was a huge moment as she has been using a walker for years!).

To add some personalized touches with the help of The Hive Wedding Collective, Evan brewed all of the wedding's beer himself which paired perfectly with the delicious southern comfort menu and diverse dessert table that included a peanut butter chocolate pie cake, thumbprint cookies, and a sprinkled donut wall. Photographed by Carley Rehberg Photography, lavender, sage green, and white details were mixed in through the bouquets, wedding attire, and ketubah. We are also completely in love with Stephanie's gorgeously striped bridal gown with ruffled layers for days that complemented her groom's necktie!
