Family Celebrated Wedding with Homegrown Dahlias

As a family of three, Elysse and Leonard wanted to make sure his daughter Karina was a part of every moment. From special vows the bride gave to her to fun iridescent reception shoes given to a special daddy-daughter dance, Miss Karina was just as in the spotlight as Elysse and Leonard at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.

Surrounded by a color palette of burgundy red and garden hues, the happy couple said their I Do's in the Sarah Lee Baker Perennial Garden and then celebrated the occasion in Baker Hall. Photographed by Maria Grace Photography and coordinated by Astro Entertainment, a trio of white cakes topped with florals and raised on rustic tree stumps, wine-colored dahlias homegrown by Elysse specifically for the wedding, and warm table candlelight set the scene for all in attendance. But our favorite detail is the abundance of smiles and laughter captured in their photos! That's the sign of a perfect wedding day.
