From Library Aisles to Wedding Aisles

For all those college lovebirds out there, this scholarly love story begins in the Virginia Commonwealth University library. As an undergraduate studying biology, Chriska spent many sleepless nights amongst her books and papers. Meanwhile, Matt was also pursuing biology after having already earned a marketing degree from Radford University. One night in the stacks, social butterfly Chriska looked over at Matt and asked him what he was studying for... and of course, as luck (or fated love) would have it, they were preparing for the same exact test. Chriska offered some help, Matt accepted, and they continued to chat and study together the rest of the semester.

Over the many years, the inseparable two supported each other through board exams, dental school, and life. Chriska and Matt's love and understanding for each other (with huge doses of laughter) have only fueled their relationship through the intense and stressful years of rigorous education, and those bonds grew to be unbreakable, especially when they decided forever was the place they were headed.

With Molly Lichten Photography behind the lens, Chriska and Matt celebrated their engagement in Libby Hill Park in Richmond. Gorgeous smiles (something you'd expect from two dentists!), cheerful and colorful attire, and swoonworthy pastel backdrops were just the elements needed to make their next journey towards newlyweds extra special.
