When this wedding waltzed our way, we instantly fell in love with Joanna and Jordan all over again. Their
retro picnic engagement session that we featured last year made our jaws drop with the bride's hand-lettered fruit pie, so we weren't surprised by the gorgeous details these two creatives envisioned for their vintage-inspired wedding day at Commune Restaurant in Norfolk. Filled with days gone by winter chic and jewel-toned charm, Joanna and Jordan's burgundy, navy, and gold wedding was the stuff of vintage dreams as Joy Co. tailored it together in style. The groom's dark blue velvet tux, the velvet ribbon boutonnieres, and the luxurious velvet ceremony draping are all completely swoonworthy when paired with the dried bouquets and hand-lettered stationery created by the bride herself showed off these Virginia Beach natives and their love for the 1920s.
Captured by
Molly Lichten Photography, we can’t stop obsessing over all of the personal and lovely details! Joanna's timeless bold red lip color, the bridesmaids' elegant faux fur stoles, the handmade acrylic sweetheart table signage with their married name, and champagne-flavored donuts are just some moments to love as these two said I do in one of the most romantic days ever!
