Intimate Winter Wedding with Simple Elegance

Keeping things simple and family-focused, Kristen and Michael envisioned a meaningful intimate winter wedding day with their closest loved ones at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia.

With sweet doggy silhouette charms around the bridal bouquet, a mini tiered dotted cake, the bride's grandmother's fur stole, the groom's handwritten letter sealed with candle wax, and a sister-made embroidered hanky, there were personal touches all throughout Kristen and Michael's wintry celebration captured by Stephanie Yonce Photography.

The guests in attendance filled out "Advice for the New Married Couple" cards that her sister then turned them into a bound book to look back at in years to come. Bittersweetly, since their wedding, Kristen's grandmother unfortunately has passed away, so she expressed how grateful she is that she can read back at her grandma's written words from that very special day. Weddings are one day events, but their memories last a lifetime.
