Rustic Obici House Wedding by Chris Malpass Photography

The Historic Obici House in Suffolk is a reminder how important the charm of your wedding venue can be. The Obici House, once a private mansion turned event venue, boasts exceptional views of the property's golf greens and beautiful Virginia waterways.

Sarah and Andrew's special day incorporated all of the charm of the venue with their own rustic touches. The running theme encompassed rustic burlap textures, rough cut wood, wine bottle centerpieces with cotton and cattails, and delightful little honey jar favors. On a crisp fall afternoon, guests enjoyed warm apple cider as they sat watching as Sarah and Andrew exchanged their vows.

Between great entertainment from Sarah's father's band and delicious cupcakes, a whole lot of jovial fun was had. Growing up in Suffolk along the water, these two families really couldn't have imagined a more perfect day.
