A Pizza Love Story and Downtown Norfolk Engagement

It was the evening of Valentine's Day, and Kaitlin and Josh had just gotten home from their weekend road trip to visit Kaitlin's family in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Despite the holiday, they didn't feel like going out or cooking so they ordered the heart-shaped pizza special from Papa John's. Unbeknownst to Kaitlin, Josh placed his grandmother's ring inside the pizza box, so when she opened the box, she got much more than cheesy pizza crust!

Since these two lovebirds both work in the utility industry in Norfolk, they knew they wanted to incorporate a bit of their past and future in their present day engagement session with Catherine Crane Photography. From the Norfolk street manhole (as a nod to their careers) to coordinating their outfits of coral, gray, and champagne (a nod to their wedding colors), Kaitlin and Josh enjoyed their time together in downtown Norfolk during one of the most beautiful times of year.
