Since Kyle grew up on the Eastern Shore and both the bride and groom love the water, they knew they wanted to get married by the bay and that the historical Elkington property would be a dream come true.
From having everyone they love in one location to taking in the beautiful night sky while running through sparklers, Emily and Kyle thought everything was absolutely perfect! Because the couple and most of their wedding guests were loyal Virginia Tech Hokies, one of their favorite memories was when their live band played the intro to "Enter Sandman" and everyone was jumping on the dance floor.
Captured by Alexis Jones Photography, this Southern couple pulled in the preppy and nautical touches through the brass fish hooks on the groomsmen boutonnières, the oyster-patterned ties, and by digging up the bourbon wedding tradition.
