Pink and Gold Cavalier Golf and Yacht Wedding

Their friendship never even started until six years later. A brief meeting in high school, Mandy and Ryan never really connected until mutual college friends worked their magic. And even with that magic, Mandy said it wasn't smooth sailing right away.

"He pursued me very persistently but I was afraid to make a commitment. It took 15 months of perseverance and a move to Charlotte and back to Chesapeake for me to tell him I was ready to be his girlfriend. It was the best decision I ever made and he has shown me Christ's love and grace every day!" the bride shared.

With a theme of family, these two made sure their wedding day was filled with special moments to honor that. From Ryan's dad recording himself singing the Lord's Prayer to be played during the ceremony to the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club recreating Mandy's great-great grandmother's fried pie recipe for their late night snack, the wedding was one special moment after another.

Coordinated by Sunkissed Events and Design and photographed by Andi and Zoe, the love nurtured for almost a decade reflects in every part of this lovely wedding.
