With these odd snow days and up-and-down temperatures here in Virginia, a lot of us are just begging for a change of scenery, preferably of the turquoise and emerald green variety. And Jamaica sure does hit the cabin fever spot! Last winter, the ladies of Aisle Society were whisked away to Jamaica to get to know the all-new "Aisle to Isle" wedding collection experience at Sandals South Coast. And today, our editor-in-chief Chelsea is sharing her top four favorite reasons why to consider tying the knot and celebrating your honeymoon together in the Caribbean... especially when it's cold here and oh so tropical perfect there in Jamaica!

You can't help but love Xavier and Rachel's story! When your best friend becomes your brother-in-law, it makes for an awesome kind of life, but not only that, this groom converted to Judaism just so he could marry the love of his life. It sets the scene for a very special day at the Westin in Richmond, and of course, Rachel's brother had to add his contribution to this fairy tale during his best man speech: "You all wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me!"

Captured by Paige Stevens Photography and coordinated by Petals and Lace Events, silver, pink, and white became the romantic color palette for this sweet wedding. In mismatched gray, dusty blue, and silver bridesmaid dresses and handsome black tuxedos, Rachel and Xavier's wedding party brought the infectious joy shared by everyone, especially the radiant smiles given by the happy couple (which still gives us major warm fuzzies when looking at their photos!). With a hand-painted chuppah by the Rachel's sister, a beautiful watercolor ketubah, a black and white Jewish prayer shawl given to Xavier to wear, and a clever little "Take one and kippah it on your head" sign for guests to take a head covering, everything perfectly blended modern details with tradition.
