When a couple's proposal story includes the Jumbotron at a Virginia Tech football game, you know there is a really neat story behind their relationship! Even though Sarah knew the proposal was coming, it's safe to say that how Chris asked was a complete surprise. Sarah shared, "It was pretty spectacular. Everyone was going crazy and cheering, and after he proposed, everyone was coming up to us, congratulating us, and asking to see the ring."

On a warm autumn day with Maria Grace Photography, the two lovebirds met up at a gorgeous little park in Williamsburg and then traveled over to the Williamsburg Winery for their engagement session. Inspired by fall-friendly colors, Chris first wore his Navy blue uniform and then switched to a cranberry sweater that complemented Sarah's perfect cream and cranberry scarf and cardigan. But our favorite part of this session is the way this groom-to-be looked at his lovely bride! It's totally what the best romantic stories are made of.
