Atlantic Gray by Burnett's Boards

Let's be real, Hampton Roads' winters aren't exactly the most cheery of seasons. Despite my love for it, it's dreary, gray, and only sometimes are we graced with that beautiful white fluff. Yet there is a quiet beauty about a season resting and prepping for the vibrant colors ahead.

So I was ecstatic when my friend Sara of Burnett's Boards created this inspiration just for Tidewater and Tulle and our launch month. I'll let her chat about the inspiration behind it, but thank you so much, Sara, for your friendship, your always inspiring blog, and especially this perfect winter Atlantic gray wedding inspiration!

Since I'm wholly unfamiliar with the Hampton Roads area, I decided to use Tidewater & Tulle's website branding as the inspiration for this board. I knew Chelsea had already pulled in elements representing the area. I also wanted to play on the colors of the Atlantic Ocean. To those of us here in Hawaii, we think of the Atlantic as much more grey and moody than the Pacific - but we still think of all oceans as beautiful!

The grey wedding dress from Sareh Nouri also plays off of the 'Tulle' in the blog name as well as that gorgeous overlay on the beach reception table. One of my favorite details in this inspiration board is the 'brush the beach from your toes' jar. It's such a thoughtful and cute detail.

Mahalo to Chelsea for allowing me to guest post on her beautiful new blog and aloha to Hampton Roads!
